The United States men’s national team needed a quick tune up game  to prepare for their Gold Cup campaign, which begins on July 7th against Honduras. So, they played lowly Guatemala and cruised to a 4-0 victory — and now USMNT is certainly one of the favorites in the tournament.

Want to watch all the goals? Here you go!

18th minute: DeAndre Yedlin crosses, but Guatemala scores an embarrassing own goal.

58th minute: Timmy Chandler shoots from range and beats Guatemalan goalkeeper Paulo Motta.

72nd minute: Michael Bradley (who was just appointed captain) was fouled in the box and Clint Dempsey taps in the ensuing penalty kick.

86th minute: The United States puts together a quick attack and Chris Wondolowski is in the right place at the right time. (And he reacts quickly enough to get the score.)

With the 4-0 victory, the United States is set to face Honduras on Tuesday, July 7th in their opening CONCACAF Gold Cup match in Frisco, Texas. The match starts at 9:30pm EST.
