Here are your NFL power rankings in Week 9 for the 2015 NFL season!

*Each team’s win-loss record is in the first parenthesis and last week’s ranking in parentheses.

  1.  New England Patriots (7-0) (1) – The league’s best, but I guarantee they don’t finish undefeated.
  1.  Denver Broncos (7-0) (T-3) – And they just added Vernon Davis.
  1.  Cincinnati Bengals (7-0) (T-3) – A narrow escape.
  1.  Carolina Panthers (7-0) (5) – The unconventional path to 7-0.
  1.  Green Bay Packers (6-1) (2) – Likely not the last to fall victim to that Broncos’ defense
  1.  Arizona Cardinals (6-2) (7) – Another uninspiring win
  1.  Seattle Seahawks (4-4) (8) – Sleeping giant
  1.  Minnesota Vikings (5-2) (T-10) – They’ve earned this slot.
  1.  Atlanta Falcons (6-2) (6) – Paging.  Last month’s Falcons.  Hello?  Last month’s Falcons please.
  1.  Oakland Raiders (4-3) (16) – 2 of their 3 losses are to undefeated teams.
  1.  Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) (T-10) – No Bell is trouble, but I think they can still make this offense go.
  1.  New York Jets (4-3) (9) – Even before the QB situation went kablooey, all you have to do is stop Chris Ivory and this team has no answer.
  1.  New Orleans Saints (4-4) (17) – Two back of the Falcons with a win in hand.  Just sayin’.

T-14.  New York Giants (4-4) (T-10) – Nice defense.

T-14.  Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) (14) – Are they the chumps who will bite on Colin Kaepernick.  I so wish I could say no.

T-14.  St. Louis Rams (4-3) (15) – Gurl-power!

  1.  Miami Dolphins (3-4) (13) – Gee I guess it wore off.
  1.  Buffalo Bills (3-4) (T-18) – Quasi-healthy again, can they make their move?
  1.  Kansas City Chiefs (3-5) (24) – Life after Jamaal.
  1.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) (25) – Much better than even the most cockeyed optimist would have hoped.
  1.  Washington RacialSlurs (3-4) (21) – Fourth best out of four won’t get it done.
  1.  Dallas Cowboys (2-5) (20) – Thiiiiiis close to blowing the season altogether even before Romo can make it back.
  1.  San Diego Chargers (2-6) (22) – Passed over.
  1.  Cleveland Browns (2-6) (23) – Play tough, come up short.  Life as a Brown.
  1.  Baltimore Ravens (2-6) (29) – Too little, too late.
  1.  Indianapolis Colts (3-5) (T-18) – This is unbelievable but. . .if you want to save your season (and maybe Andrew Luck’s career), bench him now and play Hasselbeck.  The damage you’re doing is immeasurable.
  1.  Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5) (27) – Ain’t it funny how “Jaguars” and “playoffs” is more than just a mathematical possibility all of a sudden?
  1.   Houston Texans (3-5) (30) – I don’t believe even ONE thing this team does.
  1.  Chicago Bears (2-5) (28) – The sooner the rebuild starts, the sooner it can fail and they can start a new rebuild.
  1.   Tennessee Titans (1-6) (32) – They get a sort-of reprieve because their QB is out.
  1.  Detroit Lions (1-7) (31) – I see 2 wins left on the schedule max.
  1.  San Francisco 49ers (2-6) (26) – Kaepernick benched for Blaine Gabbert, Vernon Davis traded.  This team has officially given up on 2015.
