A weeks ago we were outraged when the creators of Family Guy decided to kill of Brian. We were hurt, outraged, and possibly vowed to never watch the show again.
But as we rushed to judgement, Seth McFarlane was right there to push us back down to reality by admitting just this week they always planned on bringing Brian back.

In the original episode, Brian is run over by a car and the family becomes terribly distraught. A nice little video memorial plays and the family misses Brian so much, they get an annoying new dog before the end of a the 30min episode.
After public outcry, or it was planned all along, Family Guy made the announcement that Brian will be back just in time for a Christmas miracle.
Thank God. Because that other dog was terrible.
