The United States women’s national team put in a great first half against China, but went into the locker room drawn 0-0 at the half of the 2015 World Cup.
It only took six minutes of the second half to grab the lead.
Carli Lloyd scored a textbook header in the 51st minute to give the U.S. the 1-0 lead.
Here’s the goal by @CarliLloyd. It’s textbook GORGEOUS. (via @joshkatzowitz) https://t.co/FftQfBQmuV
