DC’s Suicide Squad dropped a brand new trailer for all of us to see. And Harley Quinn looks incredible.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a peak at DC Comic movie Suicide Squad which is based off a comic book of the same name. The movie is unlike anything Marvel or DC has produced thus far.
Centered around a ground of villains who are released from prison by the government and are assigned to do secret missions for them that more than likely will end up with them being killed. While the movie sounds a little bit dark and dreary, the new trailer shows that the movie is going to be anything but.
The movie will give birth to a new Joker played by Jared Leto who is presumed to be the leader of the Suicide Squad. But the most exciting aspect of the movie are all the villains who will finally make their big-screen debut. One of the most talked about villains of recent year is Harley Quinn, the Joker’s significant other played by Margot Robbie who is able to bring the tormented yet bubbly soul to life. Alongside Harley Quinn, we’ll meet Deadshot (Will Smith), Enchantress (Cara Delevinge) and Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). In addition to those villains, Viola Davis will play the one who runs the government agency responsible for hiring the villains, Amanda Waller.
With an extremely talented cast, it’s hard not to get excited about Suicide Squad and DC’s attempt to give Marvel a run for their money.
Suicide Squad is set to be released in August and will likely be a huge box-office success.
