1.  Denver Broncos (6-1) (1) – NFL’s best record despite the NFL’s toughest schedule.

2.  New England Patriots (6-2) (3) – Does anyone even remember a time when it wasn’t Manning and Brady?

3.  Arizona Cardinals (6-1) (4) – It’s worth pointing out that they’ve bested San Diego, the 49ers and Philly.  Their only loss:  Denver.

4.  Indianapolis Colts (5-3) (2) – Undefeated in games where the opponent scores less than 30.

5.  Detroit Lions (6-2) (13) – I don’t believe in this team, but it’s insane to pretend their defense doesn’t place them in the top 5.

6.  Green Bay Packers (5-3) (5) – Wrong place, wrong time.

7.  Cincinnati Bengals (4-2-1) (12) – Winning the ones they have to win.

8.  San Diego Chargers (5-3) (6) – Sort of the same fate as everyone else who plays the Broncos.

9.  Baltimore Ravens (5-3) (7) – Have been better than the Bengals every week except two…

10.  Dallas Cowboys (6-2) (8) – Hey guys, what gives?  It’s not December yet.

T-11.  San Francisco 49ers (4-3) (9) – Brutal second half includes the Saints, Cardinals, Chargers and Seattle twice.

T-11.  Seattle Seahawks (4-3) (10) – With five games left in division, they control their own fate.

13.  Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) (11) – Typical Philadelphia, 5-2 and they want to lynch the quarterback.0

14.  New Orleans Saints (3-4) (14) – That’s one.  They have a lot more work to do.

15.  Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) (16) – They won’t do that again for a decade.

T-16.  Kansas City Chiefs (4-3) (T-17) – Have won four of last five.

T-16.  Buffalo Bills (5-3) (T-17) – Defense is no joke, but will be tested in second half.

18.  Miami Dolphins (4-3) (20) – Brutal stretch:  six of next seven vs. over .500 teams.

19.  New York Giants (3-4) (19) – Next four will probably end them.

T-20.  Carolina Panthers (3-4-1) (15) – The slide continues.

T-20.  Cleveland Browns (4-3) (T-21) – The Jacksonville loss still looms large.

22.  Houston Texans (4-4) (23) – Guess who’s just one game out?

23.  Minnesota Vikings (3-5) (25) – A remarkable amount of fight, considering everything they’ve lost.

24.  Chicago Bears (3-5) (T-21) – They’re gonna blow it up after this season.  Just watch.

25.  Washington RacialSlurs (3-5) (T-26) – There’s a reason it’s the NFL’s most heated rivalry.

26.  Atlanta Falcons (2-6) (24) – Matt Ryan, you deserve better.

27.  St. Louis Rams (2-5) (T-26) – In the NFC South, they’d be a contender.

28.  Tennessee Titans (2-6) (29) – They have an excuse.

29.  Jacksonville Jaguars (1-7) (30) – They have hope.

30.  New York Jets (1-7) (28) – They have neither.

31.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-6) (31) – Bleh.  Just bleh.

32.  Oakland Raiders (0-7) (32) – They should move back to LA.
