The Milwaukee Brewers honorary mascot Hank recently made his way to Hollywood to attend the World Dog Awards, and won the ultimate prize: Dog of the Year!
Not only did Hank take home the Golden Hydrant award, he killed the “green carpet” and wore a custom puppy tuxedo!

Hank also performed a couple of tricks while walking the carpet.

Hank was up against some fierce competition including Bravo’s WWHL Host Andy Cohen’s pup Wacha, Duke, elected mayor of Cormorant, Minn., Peanut, the world’s ugliest dog, and Sky the “Supermodel” of dogs.
I remember when Hank was first introduced to the sports world last year when the Brewers adopted him during spring training. Named after baseball legend Hank Aaron, he became a main fixture in the Brewer’s dugout during the season.

As a dog lover and owner, I’m so happy the Brewers decided to keep him. Hope to see you during the season, Hank!
