Comic Con 2015 was in San Diego and there’s no better way to describe it than a national religion among movie, gaming, and entertainment geeks across the world. Much like E3, a lot of news for the next year is revealed to the masses and MAN OH MAN THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
Check out the three biggest stories you may have missed from the weekend to include Star Wars, Batman vs. Superman and the Women Who Kick Ass panel…
Behind the scenes of star wars
Fans were clamoring for a new trailer from JJ Abrams and the Star Wars team so naturally when it was announced prior to Comic-Con that a new trailer wouldn’t be shown, fans were disappointed.
But JJ gave us something even better than a trailer, he gave us a behind the scenes look at the filming of this iconic new series that shows glimpses of the characters (Leia!) along with the care the entire staff is taking while filming.
Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer
I’ve always been a little skeptical on any moving involving Superman. No, I don’t hate America, but as a super hero, I’ve always been a little meh on the character.
But this trailer for the new film Batman vs. Superman with Ben Affleck has me rethinking that entire logic because this looks like the best DC movie in years.
Plus, look at how badass Gal Gadok looks as Wonder Woman!
Women Who Kick Ass Panel
The annual Women Who Kick Ass panel featured Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter), Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who), Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman) and Kathy Bates (American Horror Story).
One of the cooler parts of the Q&A panel was Gadot’s response to putting on Wonder Woman’s costume stating, “It was like an out of body experience. There I was little Gal from Israel becoming Wonder Woman.”
You can check out the full recap via the LA Times but as a bonus, here’s the cover of Entertainment Weekly with little Gal front and center.
