Helmets and Heels: Women’s fantasy football leagues, USWNT, life lessons

In this week’s Helmets and Heels radio show, we had the torture of starting the show with a segment on women’s fantasy football leagues at the exact time the 2015 Women’s World Cup was getting started between the United States and Germany.

Full disclosure: We almost put on a re-run from a few months ago and hoped none of you noticed.

But we managed to pull it together to talk about how we got started in fantasy football(13:30ish minute mark) the dramatic increase in fantasy players, all-female fantasy football leagues and a DIY fantasy football trophy for the same league.

In addition to World Cup chatter, each of us ended up opening up about a difficult time in our life and how we got past it.
