Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘I ate all of your Halloween candy’ prank is back

It’s become an annual tradition for late night host Jimmy Kimmel to ask parents to traumatize prank their children by telling them they ate all of their Halloween candy only to film the reactions.

And even a few years in, these videos never get old. Kimmel himself admitted to receiving a record amount of videos this year that took hours to sort through. After the children hear the news, you see the range of emotions displayed on their faces and the reactions range from the expected crying, to violence or even one kid telling his mom to “get a job.”

I’m not a parent, but I imagine many look forward to either performing this prank or watching as other parents take part.

Jimmy Kimmel is back with one of the best pranks on TV dubbed “I ate all of your Halloween Candy.”

The morning after Halloween, parents all across the nation do the following

-Hide all of the child’s candy

-Wait until said child goes looking for candy the next morning (this is key)

-Start filming and tell the kids you ate all of the candy

-Watch as the child learns what true loss is all about

Some of the children’s reactions are surprisingly sweet and curious while most of the kids lose their damned mind over the thought of their Halloween candy haul is gone.

It’s a brilliant prank that makes me want to have children just so I can do this to them.
