(Won-Loss Record and Last Week’s Ranking in parentheses)

1.  Seattle Seahawks (11-2) (1) – Can you honestly say they’re not still the top team.

2.  Denver Broncos (11-2) (2) – Manning only 6 TDs in 3 games to break the single season record.

3.  New Orleans Saints (10-3) (3) – Drew Brees.  At home.  At night.  Money.

4.  New England Patriots (9-4) (5) – They escaped with their lives, but not with Gronk.

5.  San Francisco 49ers (9-4) (6) – They’re gonna go 12-4 and be the 6th seed.  NFC is sick this year.

6.  Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) (7) – Catching New England and getting a bye is very possible.

7.  Carolina Panthers (9-4) (3) – Have to prove they can take the Saints in two weeks.

8.  Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) (9) – Back on the winning side.

9.  Indianapolis Colts (8-5) (8) – Oh by the way they’re the first team to clinch their division.

10.  Philadelphia Eagles (8-5) (11) – Who’d a thunk it.

11.  Arizona Cardinals (8-5) (12) – Have to come up with a road win now.

12.  Baltimore Ravens (7-6) (14) – Still a tough road ahead.

13.  Miami Dolphins (7-6) (15) – Waiting to pounce if the Ravens falter.

14.  Chicago Bears (7-6) (16) – I’m far from convinced.

15.  Dallas Cowboys (7-6) (10) – And cue December swoon. . .

16.  Detroit Lions (7-6) (12) – This team is so hard to root for.

17.  Green Bay Packers (6-6-1) (17) – Am I supposed to get excited because they beat a three win team by one point at home?

18.  San Diego Chargers (6-7) (19) – Temporary reprieve.

19.  New York Jets (6-7) (21) – If they could play like an actual NFL team on the road, they’d have a shot.

20.  Pittsburgh Steelers (5-8) (18) – Missed it by THAT much.

21.  New York Giants (5-8) (20) – And it’s officially over.

22.  Tennessee Titans (5-8) (22) – What might have been.

23.  St. Louis Rams (5-8) (23) – Not really coincidence that the injured QB teams all wind up down here.

24.  Cleveland Browns (4-9) (24) – Robbed.

25.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-9) (28) – Future looking a little brighter.

26.  Jacksonville Jaguars (4-9) (30) – Tearing through the soft part of the schedule.

27.  Oakland Raiders (4-9) (26) – Have lost five of last six.

28.  Buffalo Bills (4-9) (25) – Back to back losses to Tampa and Atlanta.

29.  Minnesota Vikings (3-9-1) (27) – It hurts now, but that loss will help them come draft time.

30.  Atlanta Falcons (3-10) (29) – Could play spoiler if they’re up for it.

31.  Houston Texans (2-11) (32) – They’re awful, but I’m pretty sure they could beat Washington right now.

32.  Washington Redskins (3-10) (31) – They outquit their opponents in every phase of the game.
