(Won-Loss Record and Last Week’s Ranking in parentheses)

1.  Denver Broncos (5-0) (1) – Notice to League:  48 points ain’t enough.

2.  New Orleans Saints (5-0) (4) – Leading the NFC in point differential.

3.  Seattle Seahawks (4-1) (2) – Let’s face it – they were due to lose one of these tough road games.

4.  New England Patriots (4-1) (3) – Can they bounce back against the tough Saints?

5.  Baltimore Ravens (3-2) (5) – Still looking like one of the top teams in the AFC.

6.  San Francisco 49ers (3-2) (6) – Looking good, but not scary like last year.

7.  Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) (9) – It’s the defense stupid.

8.  Indianapolis Colts (4-1) (10) – Racking up quality wins.  Their confidence come playoff time will be high.

9.  Chicago Bears (3-2) (7) – Have yet to play a game with a two score differential.

10.  Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) (13) – A true enigma.

11.  Miami Dolphins (3-2) (10) – The bye week comes at a good time for this team.

12.  Houston Texans (2-3) (8) – They better fix this, and fast.

13.  Green Bay Packers (2-2) (14) – To be fair, they lost two road games to winning teams by a total of 10 points.

14.  Detroit Lions (3-2) (12) – No offense without Megatron.

15.  Arizona Cardinals (3-2) (18) – Don’t roll your eyes, they have top 10 scoring defense.

16.  Tennessee Titans (3-2) (15) – Facing their toughest two-game test of the season with San Francisco & Seattle.

17.  New York Jets (3-2) (20) – Once Geno eliminates the turnovers, he could be something REALLY special.

18.  Dallas Cowboys (2-3) (17) – Dallas’ presumed superiority in the NFC East gets tested with divisional games the next two weeks.

19.  Cleveland Browns (3-2) (21) – Against all odds. . .

20.  Atlanta Falcons (1-4) (16) – So many injuries. . .it could be too late for them.

21.  San Diego Chargers (2-3) (19) – Can’t seem to string anything together.

22.  Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) (26) – Tied for first place.  LMAO.

T-23.  Buffalo Bills (2-3) (22) – Facing four straight games against teams over .500.

T-23.  St. Louis Rams (2-3) (23) – Still looking pretty poor.

25.  Oakland Raiders (2-3) (30) – Seriously, with Terrell Prior this is a pretty good football team.

26.  Minnesota Vikings (1-3) (25) – Can they make a run with Matt Cassel?

27.  Carolina Panthers (1-3) (24) – Still boasting a top 10 defense, but they don’t seem to know how to win.

28.  Washington Redskins (1-3) (27) – Ready to resume the NFL’s most heated rivalry in a game that is somehow for first place.

29.  Pittsburgh Steelers (0-4) (28) – Who thinks there’s life left in these guys.

30.  New York Giants (0-5) (29) – Almost unrecognizably bad.

31.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) (31) – I’m betting Mike Glennon gets his first career win this week.

32.  Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5) (32) – If they cover 28 points vs. Denver and only lose by 3 touchdowns plus, will that be considered a moral victory?
