The launch hasn’t gone as smoothly as Ninteno would have liked, as it has been marred by problems with updates and features that aren’t working properly.
There are two different packages of the Wii U: the Basic Set retails for $299.99 while the Deluxe Set is listed at $349.99. The Deluxe Set features everything in the Basic Set plus more memory (32GB as opposed to 8), a charging cradle and stands, subscription to Nintendo Network Premium, and Nintendo Land. It also comes in black rather than the Basic Set’s white.
Despite its launch day issues, the console has sold out online at several retailers, so if you want to get your hands on one now, you’d better hurry.
