Playing games while tailgating is a very important part of the experience. Most of the time if you are tailgating you are at one spot hours before the start of the game. You want to have a little fun and get all your friends involved. Surefire ways to get everyone involved and having fun is by playing tailgating games such as Cornhole and Beer Pong. CornHole (aka Tailgate Toss or Chuck-O)
I never played this game until late 08 but it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! The game is nothing but a couple boards with a hole in it and you try to throw a bean bag through the hole or land on the board. You can make your own cornhole boards or spend about $100 for a team specific set.
Beer Pong
My personal tailgate game favorite! Beer Pong brings out the competitive nature in everyone and gets the drinks flowing. The game is a great icebreaker and always ultimately becomes the “life of the party”. It only takes a package of famous “red cups”, ping pong balls and a table. The table used can be any old table, a ping pong table or if your serious about BP action, you can grab custom team tables that are pretty legit (cost roughly $100–but are completely portable and fold up nicely for easy travel to tailgating events)
